14March2012 Wednesday --Picnic in room & Dance practice

Had lecture lessons in the morning with Mr. Lim. He taught us a new chapter on torsion of a
shaft and angle of twist. We were also told to start doing out tutorial 2
questions before leaving the class. After lesson, went to the mini mart for
some instant noodles for our lunch before going back to hostel. It’s my first
time to eat instant noodles in china for my lunch. I had chosen a duck flavor noodle with some
preserved vegetable in it. The sauces in the bowl were so hard that looks like
it was already frozen. The sauces looked so weird when it was squeezed in the
bowl before adding water. After our instant noodle lunch, continue on the
journal as waiting for next IS lesson with a new teacher. During the IS lesson,
our teacher (刘粒宇) talks about religions and Chinese traditional
culture. This teacher can speak English really well, better than the other
local teachers. Because of the friendly match with the local students, our teacher
dismisses us early to change or rest before going for the match. Before the
match start, went to buy warm chocolate milk tea and went to support our
classmates. In the beginning our school Ngee Ann Polytechnic won for the third
quarter until the last quarter, the china students won us by 5 marks. The final
score was 45: 40, our Singapore group loses. Went out to the village to pack
dinner and picnic in the hostel room. We bought desserts, fried rice, some
dishes, pancakes, drinks and snacks. After the dinner in room with our group
members, went to buy some toiletries and food for the next day breakfast. Straight after buying the things we need, went to the study block for some dance practices with the local students. They had been practicing every night with different moves and style of dance. Dance from
9.30pm till 10.20pm at every level with different students, went back to rest
and type our journal once again. After washing up, we gathered in room to do
our journal and helped each other to see.
