13March2012 Tuesday -- Hot pot day

8.50am went for tutorial lesson on strength of material (SOM). We had to finish doing all
10 tutorial questions and some past year common test questions before we were
allowed to leave the class. Around 11am we done finished the questions and went
out school for lunch. We went to the village just beside the school for lunch.
After walking several restaurants in the village, finally went in one of the
hot pot restaurant for lunch. In the village there were Korean restaurant, mini
marts, Chinese restaurant and small eatery. There were restaurant that sold
rabbit meats and rabbit steamboat too. We choose to eat a restaurant that sells
片片鱼, which cost 15 RMB for one kilogram. We ordered a pot first and the vegetable was free. After eating and drinking beer (age over 18), we took some photos and it costs us 150 RMB. 2
plates of fish, free flow of vegetable and 5 bottle of beer eaten by 8 of us
cost 150 RMB. While walking back to school after lunch, saw a stall selling
fried banana and other fruits like pineapple and apple. It looks like our
Singapore’s Goreng Pisang. We bought one mix fruits to eat, the boss also add
condense milk to it. The taste was so good that we bought one more bowl of it.
It costs 5 RMB per bowl, no matter mix with what fruits. After lunch was IS
lesson with Ms. Li, she talked about the cultures in china. After talking about
all the cultures, everyone has to answer a question before we were allowed to
dismiss. After all the students answer the questions, the lessons end at 5.10pm
instead of 4.30pm. During dinner time, went down to level2 for dinner with my
group members. We ate beef noodles and fried egg with tomato. After dinner,
went back to type our journal again.
